Jewel box "Birch grove"

Finally I finished this box. I started it at summer and I was not sure about sides. Then I thought to paint them. I am not an artist but it seems I managed it well.

Summer creations. Part 4

It is the last box from my summer creations. This is for boy. It was quite difficult to select a picture for such box. Finally I've found one vintage picture with a car and men.

This is a third box from summer collection. As you see I found the same pictures with a girl and a dog to avoid disputes between sisters which box a better. I hope I managed it well

Summer creations. Part 2

These boxes were created at the summer. The temperature was about 40C. The varnish was drying quickly and leaving stripes at the top. But I won it and the top of boxes shines. See the second box below.

Summer creations. Part 1

My friend asked me to create four jewel boxes for her childrens. She has got 4 childnren: 3 daughters and a son. I create three boxes in girlish style and one with a car. See the first below.

There are my favorite napkins from Canada. I've got them via napkin exchange from a girl who lives in my city.

If you remember I'd created two glass plates with the same motives. I love them very much

Plate "Girl with a duck toy"

I found this picture inside of my napkins. It's an old postcard I printed last Easter to decorate some cutting boards. There were three such pictures. I remember I coudn't turn them out. I spent two pictures for tests and one of them remained. I forgot it completely and I found it now. Suddenly I got an idea for a new plate. I inspired from another plate I saw during surfing the net.

Basket for cosmetics

A neighbour asked me to decorate this basket. She took it as a gift. It was completely white. She likes flowers and romantic style. I just tried it to not be so boring

Gift for my friend's birthday

My new friend is dancer. She had a birthday at June. The first idea I had was to decorate a plate with dancers. Then I thought it will be boring to take a gift with your job you do all day. I know she likes gardering and has got a lot of plants at her balcony. One day I visited IKEA and saw new watering cans they bring. I liked them. I bought one. The second problem was to choose a napkin for decorating. I spent about an hour or two to see all napkins I have. The result you can see below

Mirror "Frosted roses"

After the success of clock "Frosted roses" and candles I decided to create a mirror in the same style. I like theese this napkins a lot. Greek summer is full of roses (not frosted of course). Evenings are so romantic...

Romantic candles

Last Easter I've decorated some candles by napkin technique for the first time. There were some eastern canles for my friends to go to the church that night. My friends loved them and said me that they had never got so beautiful eastern candles before. I was inspired and create some new candles. This time in romantic style

It's a third box created for Spring Fling bazaar. Unfortunately that day was a bit rainy. Greeks like rains neither big nor small ones. We couldn't sell much. So now I sell this romantic box in my e-shops

Jewellery box "The vehicle"

There is a new jewellery box in cowboy style inspired by my friend's napkin. She bring them from Ukraine. It's all filled with scenes of the Wild West: horses, vehicles, cowboys etc. You can see one of them on the top of this box.

Spring Fling in Thessaloniki

I am preparing for Spring Fling in American Farm School in Thessaloniki. It organised by I.W.O.G. (International Womens Organization of Greece) at 16th of May, this Sunday. There will be a lot of activities for kids and parents and handcraft bazar. Some of my spring creations are below.

Plate with Rosine Weihtmeister's cats

I should to be honest I didn't like theese cats when I saw them at the first time. It was a small store at the city center where they sold porcelain cats by Rosine Weihtmeister. But now I understand the secret (if you've seen "The secret" movie). The more you hate something the more you think about it. And it takes your mind. Now I like cats of Rosine Weihtmeister. Wait for another creation in this style

My son adores this plate. He took it to his room. He is afraid that I can sell it.

Watering can "Cock"

As I said the "Cock" serial continues. Now you can see third cock. This time on the watering can. I hope this is the last one.

Another cock

Since I bought theese napkins with cocks they catch me. I decorated three objects with them and I don't want to stop. After creating two first cutting boards I remembered I have another one napkin with cock (from exchange with other crafters). So another cock started its walk.

I am sorry for poor photography. I took him five minutes before selling with previous two cutting boards

Easter is coming

The spring is here. The sun is shining more and more. All market is full of Easter decorations and gifts. Some new napkins I bought gave me new ideas. It's not completely about Easter but around this

Jewellery box "Girl with kitten"

This is my first wooden jewellery box. I bought some boxes in a good price at the summer and keep them for future. When I saw this picture with small girl and kitten I understood it would be a nice box. I loved this tiny creatures.

Greek New Year

Greeks break a ripe pomegranate to a house threshold at the 1st of January. The more it reveal, the richer coming year will be. Therefore a pomegranate - one of symbols of New Year's celebrations in Greece.

There is my cutting board writing "Good year" in greek language.
